Eddie Christmas, affectionately known as "Christmas," is a staple in the drum world. Born in New Orleans, LA, home to some of the funkiest drummers today, Christmas has solidified his sound throughout various musical genres. Eddie is known for his "Fatt Pocket and Back Beat sound. When his peers and fellow musicians describe his unique sound, they resoundingly affirm "you know when it's Eddie, his sound is like no other drummer!" Over his musical journey, Eddie has played and shared the stage with several talented artists. Some names include Gerald Levert, Snoop Dogg, Chris Robinson, The Black Crowes, Sting, Big Chief Bo Dollis, Leo Nocentelli, Shane Theriot, Henry Butler, Big Sams Funky Nation, New Orleans Monster Suspects, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Tab Benoit, and Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gent. In addition to touring the world extensively, Christmas finds time to teach classes for kids helping them develop their musical and fundamental skills to become great musicians and percussionists.
